YOGA WARRIORS
Yoga Warriors is an ongoing series within Along the Way that explores how yoga shows up in real life — not just on the mat, but in the way we breathe, choose, grow, heal, and move through the world.
Participants are invited to share a personal reflection on their yoga journey, along with two photos of expressions: Warrior II as a symbol of strength and steadiness, and a “heart-happy” pose that reflects joy, openness, or freedom.
You do not need to be a teacher. You do not need an advanced practice. You do not need a perfect pose.
You only need a willingness to share what yoga has meant to you.
If your practice has helped you feel more rooted, more alive, more present, more courageous, or more connected to yourself, I would love to include your story in a future issue of Along the Way.
This series is about the practice of living — one breath, one story, one warrior at a time.
As we stand in Warrior II, we find steadiness and presence. With each breath, we practice meeting what’s here — choosing awareness over reactivity, and compassion over fear.
The Warrior II pose invites us to hold two things at once: staying aware of what’s happening around us while remaining connected to what we feel inside.
From that place, we release what we no longer need and carry forward what we do, stepping off the mat with love, clarity, strength, and intention.

Yoga Warriors: An Invitation to Share Your Practice
In 2019, this series began with a simple curiosity:
What keeps people coming back to the mat, and how does yoga shape how we live beyond it?
